Explore the world of Jean Kerwin, a luminary in creative writing, life writing, and storytelling, whose expertise is woven with academic distinction. Having earned a Diploma in Professional Writing and Editing, followed by a Bachelor of Professional and Creative Writing from Victoria University, Jean's journey took an unexpected turn. Accepted into the prestigious Monash Law after completing her Bachelor's degree. In the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic, Jean decided to leave law and returned to the realm of storytelling. Subsequently, she achieved academic excellence, completing an Honours in Creative Writing from Deakin University in 2021, and gaining acceptance into a PhD program at Curtin University in 2023.

Beyond her scholarly achievements, Jean is a dedicated advocate for mental health, intertwining her passion for storytelling with the Men's Shed movement to address critical issues such as suicide prevention. Her multifaceted talent extends to photography, where she skillfully captures moments that breathe life into untold tales.
